Recruitment : TRANSLATOR DAILY WORKER POOL In GAZA STRIP
Medecins Sans Frontieres “Doctors without Borders” is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.
MSF-France in Gaza is currently seeking translators for our Daily Worker pool.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform oral and written translation, from the mission language to local language and vice versa, in order to ensure simultaneous, accurate, friendly, respectful, objective and fluent communication between MSF international staff and local staff and population.
Requirements:
- Secondary Education, Grade 10.
- Excellent English and Arabic skills.
- 2 years of work experiences as a translator.
- Desirable official translator degree.
- Desirable experience with MSF or other NGOs
- Desirable computer literacy (word)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Commitment and flexibility. - French is an asset.
